How YOU can be a part of Bringing LIFE to Phoenix!
As opening day approaches, we are still in need of the following resources:
Churches, families, and individuals who will sustain this new Center by becoming Monthly Partners!
Volunteers to meet with and administer the love of Christ to our clients!
Translators - there are a lot of different languages being spoken in this area!
Baby Boutique donations so we can open with a fully stocked Baby Boutique!
If you can help in any of these ways, or you have other skills you can donate, please fill out this form and we'll get right back with you.
God's timeline... not ours
April 6, 2018 - When the walls start going up, it starts getting exciting!
March 22, 2018 - Here we are after all the asbestos has been taken care of.
March 9, 2018 - So this is what gutted looks like...
February 15, 2018 - We joined with our partners and friends at the new location to consecrate the building to the Lord, dedicate it to His glory and celebrate what He is going to do at a very special Prayer Gathering
January 19, 2018 - Raul signed the lease for our new Choices Pregnancy Center at 1907 W. Camelback Road.
December 18, 2017 - Raul received word that the new owner of the building had accepted our offer - the building would be ours as soon as the papers were signed.
November 2017 - CPC proposed a lease agreement for the space at 19th and Camelback, but the property was now being resold to a new owner so those negotiations put our offer on the back burner for nearly two months.
October 2017 - We launched our Bringing Life to Phoenix campaign at our Annual Benefit Dinner. You responded and by late October, we had about half of the funds necessary to build-out the space, so our Board gave their approval for Raul to open negotiations with the owner of the building.
November 2016 - When we closed the Phoenix Center in November 2016, we did so with the belief that God would reopen it in an area that was more impactful and accessible to a greater number of people. We believed this area to be the corner of Camelback Road and 19th Avenue for a number of reasons:
- This is one of the busiest intersections in Phoenix with the light rail and buses making accessibility easy
- This area hosts a large refugee population
- This is an area that is rich in need, populated by drug dealers, sex traffickers, the indigent, and the homeless.
- The space we hope to lease has a large parking lot and is big enough to allow us to partner with other complimentary ministries.
With the call of Jesus to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." echoing in our hearts, we began praying and laying the groundwork for relocating the Phoenix Center in this mission field in our own backyard.
